VEHICLE WHEELS GUIDES
Hot dip galvanized steel pipes, for centering the wheels of the backing vehicles.
The dimensions of the pipes, the height from ground, the length of the guides and their positioning are the result of many years of experience in the production and installation of these devices. This safety system eliminates the damages produced by the imprecise backing of the vehicles to the loading bay, severe condition for the inflatable dock shelters and cushion dock shelters. In these cases the adoption of wheels guides is strongly recommended, together with a good horizontal signals on ground of the court
Realized of hot dip galvanized steel, with pipes diam. 160 mm, 1800 mm long
The round pipe does not affect the wheels and does not reach the rims of the wheel.
They are installed on the front of the loading bay as to guide the external part of the wheels for a perfect centering of the vehicle against the loading bay (tolerance 10 cm) and safeguard the tools.
The distance of installation from the loading bays depends from the type of docking vehicles.
INSTALLATION WITH EXPANSION BOLTS
The installation with expansion bolts is only possible in case of a solid cement pavement.
25-30 cm of pavement are normally sufficient for a good fixation of the guides with 8 dowels per guide. See dwg IR000081-A

In case of new courts, or with self-blocking systems, or with asphalt, the installation with bolt anchors is necessary, that have to be fit into plinths. A jig is available for the exact piositioning od the plinths.
