Campisa Fire Retardant Doors now carry the CE Mark

Campisa has been issued the Certificate of Constancy of Performance by CSI, allowing it to apply the CE mark to its fire doors under the Norm EN 16034.

As from July 2017, all automatic vertically opening Campisa Fire Retardant Overhead Doors carry the CE mark in compliance with the regulation EN16034:2014.

Campisa continues to distinguish itself as a pioneer – it is the first and, to date, the only company in Italy to attain the CSI certification necessary for the application of the CE mark to vertically opening fire doors, and is the only company in the world which produces and commercialises Sectional Fire Retardant Doors with a fire resistance of up to 180 minutes.

This certification is important: it allows the product to be sold freely anywhere within the EEC, meaning that all dealers of Campisa sectional fire doors throughout Europe can now import and install these products without having to deal with cumbersome red tape.
The new regulation EN 16034:2014 defines the safety and performance requirements regarding fire resistance and/or smoke control of pedestrian, industrial, commercial and garage doors and opening windows (horizontally opening indoor doors are not encompassed by this regulation).

All Campisa products feature advanced technology and meet the highest standards for quality and safety.
